Welcome to IWAIT2018

International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology 2018 (IWAIT 2018) will be held on January 7-9, 2018 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. IWAIT 2018 will provide an international forum for researchers and engineers who are interested in the field of advanced image technologies.

Failure to comply will prevent proper publication or accreditation of your work.   • Poster Presentation Guidelines - December 26, 2017

  •       We would like to announce that there are two poster sessions : Poster Session 1 and 2. The authors have two hours for poster presentation. Please see Program Conference for details of each session. Please follow the guidelines as described below:

    1. Ensure your poster is placed on the assigned poster board for the duration of your poster session.
    2. Stand at your poster during your assigned 120-minute presentation time.
    3. Please remove your poster from poster board after finishing your presentation.
    4. The authors should brief and introduce their own research around 1-2 minutes in the beginning of the poster session.

         Poster Board Size: The poster board surface area is 60 cm wide by 70 cm high. Your poster size should be no bigger than 60x70 cm.

  • Updated Program at a Glance - November 29, 2017

  •      By now, we have updated the program of conference to include information on the workshops. The workshops introduce the methodological approaches of ICT in Smart Car, Advanced Image Technologies, Bio-Medical Image Processing, Intelligence Data Processing and Application, as exciting new and concrete opportunities for student research. The registration of the panelists is open from 2.30 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

  • Message of Final Camera Ready Submission Extension - October 30, 2017

  •      Due to numberous requests of final camera ready submission extension, we are pleased to inform you that the deadline of final camera ready has been extended to November 24, 2017 at 23:59 hrs Thai standard time. This is the firm deadline. Please also note that, to include your paper in the conference proceeding, you MUST strictly adhere to the following requirements:

    1. At least one author of each paper must register as Regular no later than the final camera-ready paper submission due date. The registration rates are as follows: Registration Rates.
    2. Your paper may have been accepted with a condition that the paper must be revised according to the reviewer comments. Failing to do so may exclude your paper from the program and proceeding.
    3. The final camera ready paper is due on 10 November 2017. This is a firm deadline for the production of the proceedings. Please submit your paper using your EasyChair author account. The page limit is *4 page(s) and is strict. You can refer to the Sample Extended Abstract. Also for track selection, please indicate your preference (oral[OR]/poster[PT]) track by submission file naming, using the following naming style: PT_PaperID.pdf (poster preference) and OR_PaperID.pdf (oral preference). For exapmple, if your paper ID is 003 and you prefer poster presentation, then the file name of your camera ready paper should be eg. "PT_003.pdf".

  •      Due to requests from many authors for paper-submission deadline extension, we reconsider the timeline and are pleased to announce to extend the extended abstract submission deadline until September 10 (Sunday), 2017 at 23:59 hrs Thai standard time. Message from IWAIT 2018 General Chair

Welcome to Chiangmai and IWAIT 2018 in Thailand

     The International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology (IWAIT) 2018 is counted as the 21st time of IWAIT since 1998.It is the third IWAIT in Thailand and the first time for Chaingmai to host it. Actually, IWAIT has been annually held in many big cities in Asia-Pacific countries starting from Jeju, Korea (1998), and then Hsinju, Taiwan (1999), Fujisawa, Japan (2000), Daejeon, Korea (2001), Huarian, Taiwan (2002), Nagasaki, Japan (2003), Singapore (2004), Jeju, Korea (2005), Okinawa, Japan (2006), Bangkok, Thailand (2007), Hsinju, Taiwan (2008), Seoul, Korea (2009), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2010), Jakarta, Indonesia (2011), Ho Chi Min, Vietnam (2012), Nagoya, Japan (2013), Bangkok, Thailand (2014), Tainan, Taiwan (2015), Busan, Korea (2016), and Penang, Malaysia (2017).

     This is actually the great honor for Thailand to be able to host the IWAIT again, and welcome researchers in Image Processing and related fields to visit Chiangmai Which is the biggest city in the North of Thailand. The participants may experience unique traditional food, culture and history of Lanna Kingdom in Chiangmai which is the city with proud history more than 700 years.

     As general chair of organizing committee, I do hope many researches, students, and professors will submit many paper in the fields related image processing, and look forward to seeing you all in Chiangmai soon.
